And... it all boils down to the same old thing.
House rules.
Living by other people's rules and putting your own rules on hold.
In this case, it doesn't matter however long you've been away from home or where ever in the world you've lived. Once you come home, its back to living under mom's government.
It isn't logical or rational, but it has never been. Tradition, family values, asian culture. All have been practiced for generations; brought down by a long line of mothers before my very own mother.
One day in the distant, I too will form my own government and instill these...house rules.
Oh, my kids are gonna hate me.
